Anaut Inc. (“We”, “our”, “us” or "the Company") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and users. In this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" and "Personal Data" are defined as per Article 2 of the Personal Information Protection Law. When we collect personal information, we will clearly state the purpose beforehand, ensuring it aligns with our legitimate business needs. We will collect and use this information lawfully and fairly, only to the extent necessary to achieve the stated purpose.

We use Personal Information only within the scope of the following purposes of use. If we need to use the information beyond this scope, we will obtain prior consent from the individual. We will not disclose or share any Personal Data with third parties without the individual’s consent, except when permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations.

4. Handling of Personal Information

In the course of our business operations, we may share Personal Data with third-party service providers to the extent necessary  to fulfill the purpose of use outlined in "2. Use of Personal Information". In such case, we will select an providers who are committed to properly handling Personal Information, establish necessary and appropriate oversight through contracts, and work to prevent any incidents.

6. Request for disclosure of Personal Data

We will respond to requests for disclosure, including notifications of purpose of use, access to retained Personal Data or records of third-party disclosures, and requests for correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision, as outlined below.

  1. When an individual requests notification of the purpose of use of their Personal Data, we will provide this information without delay. However, if the purpose of use is already clear, or if we are not required to disclose it by law, we may choose not to provide notification. Additionally, a fee of 1,000 JPY (excluding tax) per request will be charged for notifications of purpose of use.

  2. When an individual requests the disclosure of Personal Data (including records of third-party disclosures), we will provide the information using one of the following methods specified by the customer: (a) by sending a document to the address provided, or (b) by sending an electronic record to the email address provided. However, if disclosing personal data in the requested manner would incur significant costs, we will disclose the information using the method described in (a). Additionally, a fee of 1,000 JPY (excluding mailing costs and tax) per request will be charged for each request for disclosure.

  3. When an individual requests for correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "Correction") of the contents of Personal Data, we will promptly conduct the necessary investigations. If we find that the Personal Data is inaccurate, we will make the appropriate Corrections.

  4. When an individual requests for suspension of use or deletion of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use"), we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation. If the Company handles Personal Data beyond the scope of the Purpose of Use, uses Personal Data in a manner that encourages or is likely to induce illegal or unjust acts, or obtains Personal Data by wrongful means, the Company shall discontinue the use of such Personal Data to the extent necessary to correct such violation.

  5. When an individual requests to discontinue to share Personal data to a third party, we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation. If the investigation reveals that we provide Personal Data to a third party in violation of the provisions of Article 27, Paragraph 1 or Article 28 of the Personal Information Protection Law, the provision of such Personal Data to a third party shall be discontinued without delay.

  6. When an individual requests for suspension of the use of Personal Data or for suspension of providing it to third parties (excluding the cases described in 4) and 5) above), we will promptly conduct the necessary investigation. I If we determine that it is no longer necessary to use the Personal Data, or if there is a security concern such as a potential leakage, loss, or damage that could harm the rights and interests of individuals, as outlined by the Personal Information Protection Committee, we will immediately discontinue the use of that Personal Data and halt any third-party disclosures, as necessary to protect those rights and interests.

  7. Notwithstanding the provisions of  4) to  6) above, if it is difficult to discontinue the use of Personal Data or to stop providing it to a third party due to significant circumstances, and if alternative measures are taken to protect the rights and interests of the individual, we may not be able to cease the use or provision of that Personal Data to third parties.

7. Cookie information

We automatically collect and record certain information when users browse our website, including their IP address, the pages viewed, and cookie information related to their usage environment (hereinafter referred to as "Cookie Information").
